My first day out of corporate world I went online and ordered a bunch of cork foam boards. As soon as they arrived, I literally nailed them onto the wall of my Brooklyn studio apartment, creating a blank slate for what would eventually become CREAGH. I went to the library and dove into the history of handbags. What purpose had they served in the past, and how have they evolved over the past few centuries? I wandered through museums contemplating how designers have responded in the past when technology was making huge shifts in society just as it is today. I slowly filled up my wall with research and images, and throughout this process I was able to develop the design principles of CREAGH.
